Getting Started: GameTruck North Atlanta
We had so much fun getting to talk with Julius Freeman, Owner at GameTruck North Atlanta. After 20 years in corporate America, Julius started the ultimate party business for kids, opening GameTruck North Atlanta in 2019.

The business started with a focus on video game parties on the truck, and added Gameplex, a video game concept without the game truck, during the pandemic. Later, he added non-truck activities so boys and girls had more options for active birthday parties.

Now, GameTruck brings the excitement to kids' birthday parties in Atlanta and so many events!

Play-by-Play: GameTruck Party Details

A GameCoach hosts each event, rallying the team, sharing the rules and refereeing play. For non-truck activities, the GameCoach sets up inflatable bunkers, tent, and all equipment to create the ultimate arena. They even bring a speaker, music, and microphone to keep the energy high throughout the entire Game Truck party in Atlanta!

These super cool kids' birthday parties keep kids active and having fun - and bring out their competitive spirit! Here are some of the games you can choose for your child’s next game truck birthday party:

LaserTag Party: Turn your backyard or park into a laser tag arena! The GameTruck Atlanta team brings 12 taggers, laptop, and a flatscreen TV. They also set-up inflatable bunkers for the action-packed game. They bring kids over to rally the crew and review the rules. Then the whole team participates in different types of games from capture the flag to protect the VIP and last man standing. Games run in short increments of 5-10 minutes. The GameCoach hosts the entire event, keeps the games rolling, and energy high. For ages 7+.

GelTag Party: Similar to LaserTag, GelTag is an action-packed adventure full of exciting games. Competitions run similarly to the LaserTag games. The colorful gel balls used explode on impact but without the pain of something like paintball. Balls are biodegradable and water based, so there is no harm to pets or the environment. Kids wear safety goggles to protect the eyes. For ages 7+.

GameTruck: Kids get to play their favorite video games inside the coolest game truck in Atlanta, in a way and inspires team building and social interaction. Participants compete with all of their friends in the truck, not just those online. The truck features the latest consoles including Xbox X, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch, with age appropriate games. Certified Game Coaches lead the entire event so parents get to sit back and relax! For ages 6+.

ZTag: Great for large groups and even events that involve parents, this game is perfect for all ages. Participants wear an oversized electronic device on their wrist that communicates with the computers. The event moves through a series of games including red light green light, pattern match, and zombies. These games require communication and teamwork to win and get super loud and exciting! For ages 5+.
